Dr. Mark Struck

Mark has served in ministry for 3-1/2 decades as an ordained pastor and missionary. He and his wife, Vivian, have been married since 1978 and have four grown children who have traveled to different parts of the world and have interests in many regions of the world. Mark has mainly served as a missions pastor in the local church and in 2009 was volunteering with Desiring God (the teaching ministry of Dr. John Piper) when they asked him to join DG in the work of spreading a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. Mark has traveled and served in nearly 50 nations and among many more people groups. He feels right at home among any people group and loves to join the local people in traditions and culture at the same time having a heart for reaching them with the Gospel of God. Presently, Mark serves the Desiring God team by meeting with donors in the USA and around the world, serving local pastors, helping congregations with resources, and seeking to help the international church with translated resources from Desiring God's well of God-centered resources. He comes to Temple Hills for our conference after most recently being in India, Nepal, and the Persian Gulf.

Karyn Zaayenga

Karyn Zaayenga is a career missionary with TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission), serving in Japan since 1998. Karyn has helped plant 4 churches in Oita, Japan and has written a book (in English but published in Japanese) for Christian singles. Currently, she works in Tokyo assisting the Tama Church in establishing an outreach to young adults.

David Gough

David Gough has served as Pastor of Temple Hills Baptist Church for the past five years. Prior to that, he served as a Professor at Washington Bible College for 25 years. God's glory and God's grace are the major emphases of his ministry. His goal is to develop Christ-honoring and Bible-loving believers who recognize their role in carrying out the divine mandate to reach all nations for His eternal glory.
